The Ultimate Beauty Classics

Hi everyone! I'm Danielle, a close friend of Ashley's since the fourth grade. I am thrilled that Ashley has asked me to guest blog about hair and beauty products because for as long as we have known each other, I have always been the 'girl who can't leave the house with out her face on'. I am more relaxed with my makeup routine these days but I still enjoy getting dolled up for an event. It's always so much fun!

*Tousled Hair* The undone look of loosely curled, tousled hair will never loose it's appeal. It works well with any cut or color and will always look effortless even if it took quite a bit of time (we won't tell!).

*Winged Eyeliner*  Everyone has their own unique eye shape and spacing. The winged eyeliner looks great on just about everyone when you adapt it to your features. If you have wide spacing, keep the wing shorter, longer for narrow. If you want to thicken up the lash line, thicken the line. If you want subtle wings, keep it thinner until the corners.

*Long Eyelashes* Everyone benefits from mascara! When I leave in a hurry, I always find a way to apply my mascara. Everyone has different lengths and thickness to their lashes and you should work what you have to the fullest. A mascara that is made for volume and length will always be your best friend. Try a shade that compliments your coloring or just go for jet black for instant glamor. Eyelash curlers may look scary if you've never used one but once you get the hang of it, you will notice that it opens your eye for a more rested and youthful appearance. Try curling in three increments along your lash to create a dramatic curl: base, middle, and then the very tips, but lightly to avoid a crimp.

*Red Lips* This beauty classic will never die! It has been done through the years and will always appear timeless. You may think that a red lip is too bright but it only takes getting used to. Test it out at home and wear it all day. Find a color that compliments your skin tone and remember that blue or purple based reds (IE. Plum) will make you teeth appear whiter.

*Rosy Cheeks* The pink, rosy cheeks of winter or the slight flush from a jog is always flattering to any complexion!
